Three Months Pre-Service Training of Newly Appointed Additional District & Sessions Judges begins from April 24, 2017

Three Months Pre-Service Training of Newly Appointed Additional District & Sessions Judges have started from April 24, 2017. The Honorable Director General, Sindh Judicial Academy welcomed the participants and he introduced the faculty members followed by his own introduction.

Addressing the participants, he said that he was very disturbed because of the negative perspective of the people about the judiciary.  He accepted that there are some issues to be resolved but the facts are rather more exaggerated. That is the reason why he accepted to become the Director General of Sindh Judicial Academy to make some positive changes.

The Honorable Director General said that to be a Judge is really something great but it is a great responsibility too. He quoted one of his senior that while sitting on the seat of a judge, you see the people with your two eyes but at the same time 200 eyes are watching you. He instructed the participants that don’t take the judge-ship as an employment, it is a service to the people.

The Honorable Director General, SJA concluded his speech by the words:

“We believe in grooming, so that, when you go to your courts, you should be a better judge”.
